CheckPro App

The CheckPro app gives you a digital version of a traditional defect book or inspection sheet that allows the user to record vital information quickly and easily.

Once the user signs in and chooses their vehicle or asset, they will automatically see the relevant checklist.

The app allows the user to:

  • Report all defects and send instantly to the CheckPro Compliance Management System
  • View historical reports on your mobile device in the event of a roadside checks.
  • Take up to 4 photographs of a defect and add notes if required, allowing a manager to decide as to the severity of the defect which can speed up the rectification process.

No signal? All reports are automatically synced as soon as a signal becomes available.

Once the walkaround checks are carried out, you get the opportunity to review and submit the report. Reports are instantly synced to the CheckPro dashboard where defects can be managed.

DATA COVERAGE & SIGNAL ISSUES

When a walkaround check is performed in an area without a reliable data signal, the app stores the report and will automatically send it as soon as a signal becomes available without the need for the user to intervene, giving peace of mind that once submitted your report will always arrive on the CheckPro Compliance Management System.

GPS TAGGING

Each walkaround performed on the CheckPro app uses the GPS on the mobile device to accurately show where the check was undertaken. This location is then viewable on the report.

CUSTOMISABLE CHECKLISTS

Along with all the DVSA & FORS complaint checklists for HGV/ PSV / Van / Minibus and Trailer, CheckPro allows you to create an amended version of the list with specific checks for your vehicles, and even allows the creation of unique checklists from scratch. Giving you the opportunity to create a wealth of checklists for your business. The only limitation is your imagination!

Once a report is submitted, it cannot be changed by the user or on the dashboard, giving a clear audit trail and keeping your business fully compliant.

HGV Specific Features

The CheckPro app is the perfect solution to replace your existing paper based defect reporting. For HGV fleets we have set up all the relevant DVSA checks to ensure that you & your drivers are fully compliant with current legislation.

Once a driver is logged into the app, they have the option to select their vehicle and either view previous reports or start a new walk around check. With a user friendly interface the driver performs each check in turn and should a defect be identified they can then add photographs of the defect and any relevant notes before moving to the next check.

Once all checks have been performed, the driver has the option to review the full report and make any necessary adjustments, before submitting the report to the cloud based CMS.

The report will also inform the driver if the checks are deemed safe to continue using the vehicle or if it is unsafe.

Once uploaded to the CMS, the report is viewable by the manager who can see whether there are any defects that need addressing, how long the walkaround check took to perform, GPS location and other data for measuring KPI’s of drivers / depots & vehicles.

In-Service Defects and Bespoke Checklists

The CheckPro app allows a driver to instantly report an in service defect back to base (subject to network connectivity). in service defects can include anything from warning lights appearing, through to breakdowns & accidents.

An alert can be set on the CMS so that the fleet manager is instantly aware of the issue, and a report is available giving you the valuable information you need to help get the problem rectified as soon as possible.

Furthermore the CMS then provides a full audit trail for future reference, for example as evidence for insurance purposes. Plus with the data provided you can determine where further training may be needed, where incident hotspots might be on your key routes and other vital information that can ultimately lead to a safer workforce and reduced costs.

As well as the preloaded walkaround checklists built into the system, CheckPro is also a fully customisable system that lets you create completely new templates for checklists that are unique to your business.
