We’ve been using the checkpro App for defect reporting for about 18 months, and would never go back.
We originally wanted a system to allow us to keep record of not just our own vehicles but also the third party trailers we pull for our customer, we can swap trailers several times a day and it is imperative to keep record of trailer numbers and defects and damage.
A feature I particularly like is being able to customise the defect report to suit the trailer you are checking, be it a skelly, curtain side, fridge or what ever type of trailer you couple to.
The facility to add photographs defect reports is a valuable tool when keeping record of customer trailers which often have their share of battle scars from previous users. The complete defect report can then be emailed to a third party to complete an important part of the loop to maintain compliance for us and our customers.
The checkpro system makes a generic tedious paper defect system, not only redundant but makes it easy, fool proof and 100% relevant to the specific vehicles.
A feature I luckily haven’t needed to use so far is the accident report, this is an excellent idea to remind a driver of the details required and keeps a record simultaneously.
Its all about making tasks easy to follow and complete and the checkpro App does this every time.
A good system with an easy to use format
We have been using the CheckPro system for a year and have to say I am very pleased with the easy to use format.
The reduction in paperwork and filing has definitely been a plus.
When it comes to being audited it is easy to recall the history to show that regular checks are done, where the defects were and when they were repaired.

CheckPro is Magnificent!
Drivers can simply use their smart telephones to complete their daily walk round checks and send to the Transport office immediately.
Everything is computerised, no paper trail to go missing, with the added advantage of being able to add images where required.
As a Transport Manager you can see when the check was carried out and also be aware of any checks that may have been missed.
CheckPro makes it easy for drivers to complete checks, and they like using it !
CheckPro is fully traceable, the records are perfect.
